Holy Child College

Primacy of the Spiritual

At Holy Child College, we believe that spiritual development is foundational to holistic education. We guide our students to grow in faith, moral integrity, and purpose.

Our Spiritual Activities

Masses Worship & Prayer

Every day at Holy Child College begins and ends with prayer. Students participate in the Holy Mass, morning devotions, and the Divine Office. These daily practices nurture a habit of personal and communal spirituality.

Catechism & Sacraments

Catechism classes deepen the students' knowledge of the Catholic faith and Church teachings. Confession is made accessible through scheduled Reconciliation services, fostering spiritual growth and a clean conscience.

Marian Devotions & Adoration

Students actively engage in Marian devotions such as the Holy Rosary and special feasts. Eucharistic Adoration is regularly held to encourage silent reflection and a deeper relationship with Christ.

Liturgical Seasons & Retreats

Liturgical seasons like Lent and Advent are observed with solemnity through Stations of the Cross, penitential services, and guided reflections. Students also attend annual spiritual retreats to strengthen their interior life and Christian values.

Living the Faith

Faith in action is a core part of our ethos. Students participate in outreach programs, spiritual talks, and school-wide celebrations of feast days—living out the Gospel message with joy and service.

School Anthem

School Anthem Image

1. Thou art the Light, the bright and morning Star, In whom we ever live and move and are. Shine in our hearts, O Light divine and true, That we may shine and bring men home to You.

2. Thou art the living Bread from God come down To give Thyself to men, Thy love to crown. Come, give us now the hunger and the need To break our hearts as Thou didst break the Bread.

3. Thou art the Lamb of God, Oblation made, When by Thy Mother in the crib first laid. O make our hearts Thy crib, Thy home, Thy shrine, That we may love Thee with a love like Thine.

4. Thou art the Way in which we learn to run With ardour, till Thy Father's will be done. Help us to follow in Thy steps each day, And lead our souls along Thy narrow Way.

5. Thou art the Life which God's abundance gave, Which never saves itself, which dies to save. O live in us, that we may live in Thee And give ourselves as Thou gavest on the tree.

6. Thou, Alpha-Omega, the First and Last, In Whose eternal love our lives are passed. Be Thou our centre, our unchanging Sun, Till all our days and all our work are done.

Holy Child Jesus

Prayer to the Holy Child Jesus

Oh most sweet Jesus, we beseech thee by thy most sweet name, to be to us indeed Jesus a Savior and grant us thy own Spirit of the Holy Child Jesus.
Engrave this dear name in our hearts, that we may feed upon thy sweetness and burn with thy love, that we may ever live and die in you.
Oh most sweet!
Oh most meek!
Oh most Loving!
Holy Child Jesus!
Amen.
